DUROMAC commenced the distributorship of Bucher Schoerling, which is currently named Bucher Municipal, BUSCHER (Switzerland) in 1996, and the very first unit of BUCHER Road Sweeper (model TSZ3) was sold to Majlis Perbandaran Klang (MPK) in the same year. We mounted the first road sweeper locally two years later, in 1998, and supplied six units to propel. 

We broke the world record in 2002 when we received a 150-unit single order from Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan (KPKT) for our Walk Behind Sweeper. The same year, we sold our first BIN WASHING truck in Asia to Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL). In 2007, we sold the BUCHER Citycat 2020 Compact Road Sweeper to SMART Tunnel, the Southeast Asia’s longest storm water drainage tunnel.

In the following year, 2008, DUROMAC brought in the first 3 cubic metre Road Sweeper to Malaysia and delivered it to Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang (MBPP) and Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam (MBSA) (MBSA). In 2014, we successfully delivered our 100th road sweeper unit.
